Choose the sire and dam phenotype (what they look like), add any known recessive genes, and view predicted litter phenotypes plus recessive gene outcomes. Note: Ebony/Self Black is a cumulative gene (see note below)

Blue Diamond is treated as homozygous Sullivan Violet plus homozygous Sapphire.
Deutsche Violet is separate from Sullivan Violet.
If either parent has Ebony / Self Black, offspring are labelled as carrying the cumulative ebony gene.
Royal Persian Angora (RPA) is treated as a separate recessive overlay that can occur with any colour.

Ebony (also known as a Self Black), is a cumulative rather than a dominant or recessive gene. This means that the more of the gene in the animal the greater the influence on its phenotype or appearance. The more ebony genes present in the bloodline, the darker the animal tends to become over generations. Hence, as an example, it can present as a Standard grey with a muddy/off white belly through to a black animal with every hair shiny.
